Hello and welcome! I see you and I'm glad you're here. I earned my Masters in Social Work from Indiana University with a focus in trauma. I grew up and practiced most of my professional life in Indiana. Then, life happened, I chose to take the challenge and do what I love, where I love to be the most, close to the mountains. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have been honored to walk with many individuals, from all walks of life, seeking hope, whole human health and a brighter future. The weight of life is heavy with all that we see and hear in social media, news outlets, strains found in the workplace and challenges within family settings. The challenges you face are unique to you and I'm offering to meet you where you're at, with what you bring to the table. Together, we will explore those challenges, find solutions through using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, Short Solution Focused Care and much more. You can expect I will listen without judgement, support you through the difficult times, provide education and understanding and cheer you on when you find success, there is hope even if it feels like there is none. Throughout my clinical training and practice I have dedicated my career to supporting those individuals' experiencing grief, loss, depression/anxiety, challenging life stages, women's care, developmental stages through adolescent years (12-27), Trauma, PTSD and our LGBTQ community members. As a First Responder/EMS wife for 13 years, I have dedicated myself to also working with first responders, EMS, Fire, and Police, our unsung heroes. You can do this, one step at a time. Tomorrow is waiting for you.
