What should a new client know about working with you?

I prioritize a very client centered, warm, and no BS approach to therapy built on a strong client-therapist relationship. I love how creative and personalized therapy can be and I am committed to individualizing treatment around my clients.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I use trauma focused, evidence-based treatment modalities, including EMDR, to help clients process past/recent events, explore a deeper understanding of how you want your life to look like moving forward, and how to get there. In addition to working for the military/DoD at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, I have worked in all levels of substance use treatment, at various trauma focused programs, and private practice settings.

This is a terrible doctors office. They sent me a form at 11:00 AM to fill out for my consultation. I spent 5 to 10 minutes filling out the forms and I submitted them. My appointment was at 11:45 AM and I had heard nothing. After 20 minutes I reached out to Zocdoc and they said that their office wasn’t answering the phone as they have no one at the office to answer phone calls. I finally got a text at 1220pm saying I had never filled out the forms I had filled out at 11AM! I told him to forget it. When people are suffering from mental disorders and you treat them this way it is a terrible experience and made so worse because we have no tools on how to deal with doctors offices that treat you like you don’t exist. ?
