Booking info: Please note that I require a free 15-minute phone consultation prior to your desired appointment date to ensure I am the best fit for your counseling needs. If you plan to use your insurance benefits for sessions, please provide your insurance information so I can verify your cost per session through my insurance biller before we begin. Perhaps you have been finding it harder to feel joy, or it’s becoming more difficult by the day to simply stay afloat. In life, we are often made to feel flawed for being human, but I want you to know that you deserve a space that is healing, supportive, and free of judgment. As a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University, I feel honored to help others cope, process, and alleviate their pain so they can live their lives to their full potential. Opening up about our pain can feel like a risk, but I hope that in our work together, you realize you’re worth this risk.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I specialize in treating eating disorders, recovery from abuse, and identity exploration. My therapy style is eclectic, meaning I use interventions from multiple approaches (such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) to tailor-fit it best to your needs.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The first step in the process of working together is that I initially have a brief phone consultation to make sure I am the best fit for your counseling needs. If I feel that you would benefit from working with someone that is more specialized in your needs, I will provide you a referral for free so that you are guided to the right professional. If we are a fit, the first session will explore the reasons that brought you to therapy, and from there we will focus on what would help you best in the moment. This is very individualistic to the person - for some it may be learning coping skills, for others it be processing our emotions, and it can also mean I provide you additional resources to better support you. My goal with you in therapy is to create a trustworthy, caring, and safe therapeutic alliance so that you are empowered to live your life with self-respect, authenticity, and confidence.
