Psychotherapist
4236 Overland Ave, Culver City, CA
The provider is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and is currently working under the supervision of a licensed practitioner. Their current employer is Shakti Therapy & Healing Services. Hi, I’m Charlotte, a holistic trauma therapist devoted to guiding you through profound inner transformation at the intersection of neuroscience, psyche, and spirit. If you are a high-achieving, deeply feeling individual, you might be exhausted from simply "managing" your symptoms or analyzing your trauma without actually releasing it from your body. My work is rooted in a core belief: healing is not about fixing what is broken, but remembering and reconnecting with what has always been whole. I specialize in supporting individuals navigating complex trauma (CPTSD), life transitions, chronic burnout, and spiritual exploration. Drawing from Depth and Jungian Psychology, Somatic Psychotherapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), my approach goes beyond traditional talk therapy. Whether you are navigating the complexities of your past, recovering from creative or executive burnout, or preparing for expanded states of consciousness, we will create an attuned, intentional container for your healing. Healing deepens when we have the courage to meet ourselves without performance. In our sessions, curiosity creates openings where shame once lived. I strive to create a grounded space where your insight becomes felt, embodied, and lived—where your mind understands, and your nervous system finally feels safe enough to release. I look forward to meeting you and walking alongside you on your journey toward authentic peace and connection.

What should a new client know about working with you?

A new client should know that working with me is a collaborative, deeply compassionate, and non-judgmental partnership. You do not have to perform, have all the answers, or try to "logic" your way out of your pain to heal here. Because I specialize in somatic (body-based) and depth psychology, our work will go beyond traditional talk therapy. We will not just analyze your anxiety or trauma; we will actively work with your physical nervous system to release it. Whether you are dealing with chronic burnout, complex trauma, or a major life transition, my priority is to create a secure, grounding container where you can finally drop the "mask of success" and be truly seen.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My process always begins with establishing profound safety and trust. Before we dive into deep trauma processing or inner child work, we first focus on nervous system regulation to ensure your body feels anchored, secure, and ready to heal. From there, the process is highly tailored to your unique needs and pacing. We may use Internal Family Systems (IFS) to understand the different protective parts of your psyche, or Somatic Psychotherapy to track and release physical tension trapped in your body. Together, we will gently explore the root causes of your emotional exhaustion. Finally, we focus heavily on integration, ensuring that the insights and physical relief you experience in our sessions translate into authentic peace, boundary-setting, and resilience in your everyday life.

More information on payments and coverage

We prioritize your care over insurance limitations, but we fight to get you reimbursed. We operate as an Out-of-Network clinic to ensure your care is dictated by your needs, not insurance limitations. However, we want to help you maximize your benefits. Our billing team can check your PPO out-of-network coverage for you. If you have coverage, we provide detailed monthly statements (Superbills) that you can submit for reimbursement. We also accept HSA/FSA cards directly. You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. You have the right to receive the Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
