Psychotherapist
5400 South Biscayne Dr, North Port, FL
My name is Dr. Charlton Cerbone, and I am a certified addiction professional with long-term recovery experience. I hold a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University, Sarasota, and a Doctor of Behavioral Health from Arizona State University. I am passionate about helping people struggling with addictions and impulsive tendencies. Are you feeling stuck in your current situation? When was the last time you wrote down five short- and long-term goals? Have you ever felt like you talk a lot about making changes in your life but don't always put them into action? Have you tried to quit an addiction but never managed to fully abstain? I specialize in providing substance abuse, sexual addiction, and anger management assessments to develop the best treatment plan for my clients. I use a combination of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and reality therapy to ensure effective treatment. I'm here to support clients through self-reflection, teaching essential life skills, goal setting, and replacing the victim mindset with one of taking responsibility for addiction. I want to help you create change and become part of the solution.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
