UpLift Behavioral Health providers do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by any federal or state agency or other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. UpLift Behavioral Health reserves the right to limit the types of medications that may be prescribed by its doctors and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. My approach to counseling involves thorough evaluations of clients struggling with substance abuse, sexual addiction, and anger management to develop the most effective treatment strategies. This goal-directed therapy combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Reality Therapy, yielding promising results. I hold a Doctor of Behavioral Health from Arizona State University and a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University, Sarasota, which inform my evidence-based methods. It is my conviction that fostering client self-awareness, equipping them with essential life skills, helping them achieve their goals, and encouraging a mindset that rejects being controlled by addiction are key to promoting lasting change and becoming part of the solution.
