My focus You are the expert regarding yourself and your life. With that in mind, my approach is to work with you to assist in realizing realistic and achievable goals. I want you to walk away from each session feeling more capable and reassured. My communication style I believe in communicating in a non-offensive, yet direct manner. My goals for you Early on in the treatment process, you and I will agree on some specific and measurable goals to work toward. Then I help you to succeed in reaching those goals through various assignments, such as (sometimes) journaling, reading materials, recommending other sources of education or support, and asking you to be accountable for accomplishing tasks. I try especially not to overwhelm.
