Charron Brasher, LPC

Psychotherapist
TX
Hi there, I'm Charron! Good day, I'm Charron Brasher, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) practicing in Texas via telehealth. I hold a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Alabama A&M University. I work with young and older adults, specializing in depression, anxiety, work/life balance, family, and relationship challenges. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy to assist clients in achieving their happiness. My approach My approach to therapy varies based on each client's needs. I believe in meeting clients where they are. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy as guides, I help clients understand their concerns and work toward a healthier, more balanced mental state. My focus Over the years, I've found that my style fits well with young and older adults managing multiple life changes and challenges, along with unresolved past issues contributing to depression, anxiety, marital problems, and family conflict. My communication style I communicate in a supportive and empathic way. Trust is the foundation of a strong therapeutic relationship, and it cannot be built if clients feel judged. My journey to therapy I have always wanted to help others, which led me to become a therapist. I believe that when you feel better about yourself, you do better overall. Growing up, people often shared their problems with me. I would help them find solutions or simply offer a chance to ?get it off their chest.? I didn't realize then that I was training for my purpose-to help others.
