Getting to know Chelsea Chojnacki

*Appointment schedule default is for 45 minutes, but please expect sessions to last for the whole hour.* Hello there; I'm Chelsea of Creating Cohesion Counseling! I use she/her/hers pronouns. Are you feeling like your life has been more difficult to manage than it used to be? Do you feel like there is something-or multiple things-holding you back from feeling content with your life? There are so many things we as humans are constantly juggling to keep a balanced and fulfilling life. In my work with clients, I help you make sense of the chaos and find a balance that works for you. Whether it's depression, anxiety, relationship issues, family challenges, or past traumas, these all impact and influence our ability to make it through the day. I provide a space of empathy, compassion, and an outside perspective to help find blind spots or reframe meaning. Whether you've been in therapy before or this is your first time, I strive to create a collaborative partnership meant to empower you to start feeling in control again. I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Ball State University and earned my Bachelor's degree from Missouri State University.

What should a new client know about working with you?

At first session, you can expect to review the intake form you've submitted so that I can be sure I have a clear picture and full understanding about you as a person. Intake forms are a helpful rubric, but no form can fully articulate all that makes you "you." As we begin our work together, we will begin building trust and developing the dynamic that works best. One universal expectation of therapy is that you will need to find ways to bring therapy out of the office. There are 168 hours in a week, and you and I get one. If you're not sure what that looks like, we can figure out what works for you. Once we have figured out how we work together best, we will be in a place to hone in on unraveling the tangle.

In-network insurances

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
