What should a new client know about working with you?

I am my authentic self with my clients in sessions and with my therapeutic skills. I like to use humor (when appropriate) to build and maintain our therapeutic relationship. I tend to speak with a more upbeat tone and demeanor to be more approachable to those in need. I will use reflections and summarizing to show I am listening to your needs and to validate feelings.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Sessions will be a combination of me teaching you skills or concepts mixed in with exploring what comes up for you during the week. We will work together to set behavioral plans to practice during the week to reach your desired goals.
