What should a new client know about working with you?

New clients should know that I value patience, understanding, and building strong therapeutic relationships based on trust and respect. I understand that starting therapy can feel uncomfortable at first, so I work to create a welcoming and supportive space where clients can feel safe being themselves. My therapy style is warm, encouraging, and client-centered. I believe every individual’s experiences and needs are different, so I tailor sessions to fit each client’s personal goals and challenges. I focus on helping clients develop practical coping skills, improve emotional awareness, strengthen communication, and build confidence in daily life. I enjoy working collaboratively with clients and helping them recognize their strengths while working through challenges at a pace that feels comfortable for them.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The first session usually focuses on getting to know the client, understanding their concerns, discussing personal history, and identifying goals for therapy. I take time to build a comfortable and supportive environment where clients can openly share their thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment. Together, we create a plan based on the client’s needs and goals. Sessions may focus on emotional regulation, behavioral concerns, communication skills, self-esteem, stress management, family dynamics, school or life challenges, and developing healthy coping strategies. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and individualized. I work alongside clients to help them better understand themselves, build confidence, improve relationships, and make positive changes that support long-term emotional wellbeing.
