Chelsea Pangelinan, LPC

Chelsea Pangelinan, LPC

Psychotherapist
TX
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor providing virtual therapy across Texas. I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma-related symptoms, life transitions, and relationship challenges. My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), attachment-informed work, and skills-based emotional regulation. I am especially passionate about supporting high-functioning individuals who may appear “put together” externally while experiencing internal overwhelm, burnout, or self-doubt. I strive to create a therapeutic space that feels both affirming and structured—where clients feel seen, respected, and supported while developing practical tools for lasting change.

What should a new client know about working with you?

New clients can expect a balance of warmth and structure. I value building a strong therapeutic relationship while also helping clients develop practical coping strategies that can be applied outside of session. I tend to be collaborative and transparent in my work. We will identify clear goals together and regularly assess progress. I also believe therapy should feel safe but growth-oriented—meaning we will gently challenge patterns that may no longer serve you. Clients often describe our work as validating, insight-driven, and skills-focused. My goal is to help you build emotional awareness, strengthen relationships, and increase confidence in your ability to navigate stressors independently.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first session focuses on understanding your presenting concerns, relevant history, current stressors, and goals for therapy. We will discuss symptoms, strengths, and areas of impairment to ensure treatment is tailored to your needs. After the initial assessment, we collaboratively develop a treatment plan outlining measurable goals. Sessions may include cognitive restructuring, emotion regulation skill-building, communication strategies, trauma-informed processing, and behavioral interventions depending on your needs. Throughout treatment, we will monitor progress, adjust interventions as needed, and work toward building sustainable coping strategies that support long-term emotional health.
