Getting to know Chelsie Meredith

Hi! My name is Chelsie Meredith, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). What brought me to social work was the desire to help others through the difficult parts of life that we all encounter. I completed my education at Florida State University and the University of Central Florida and have experience working in healthcare, hospice, community mental health, and the K-12 school system. I have worked with children, teens, young adults, adults, couples, and the geriatric population through a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem, emotion regulation, and relationship and family issues. Through my work in the school system, I have worked with kids on emotion regulation and impulse control through zones of regulation and feelings and by helping them identify their triggers. It is important to me to create a comfortable and safe space for my clients where they know they are listened to and cared for by using an empathic, non-judgmental, and client-centered approach. I use solution-focused thinking, cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques (CBT), and trained in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) to help you reach your goals. I’m passionate about meeting my clients where they are on their own journeys and empowering them to continue their growth.
