What should a new client know about working with you?

DISCLAIMER: We are not able to accept Medicare or Medicaid plans at this time. Throughout my years as a social worker, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse populations facing a wide range of unique challenges. What continues to inspire me most is the resilience of the human spirit. Witnessing that resilience firsthand sparked my passion for this work and remains at the heart of why I do what I do.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My work is dedicated to helping you build resilience through greater distress tolerance. To achieve this, I foster curiosity, compassion, and a nonjudgmental stance, ensuring a collaborative, safe, and growth-oriented environment where you feel understood and empowered to explore your inner experiences safely and openly. I believe in autonomy within the therapeutic relationship and practice from a person-centered perspective, utilizing an integrative approach that draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). This approach allows me to better support you in understanding the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing personalized coping strategies that align with your values and goals.
