Cherie Cell

Psychotherapist
MO
Hi. I’m Cherie and I am a clinical social worker and telehealth provider but you can also call me a life-untangler , a thought mediator, and anxiety warrior. I am someone who sparks change in people’s lives while providing a safe-stigma free space in order to do so. I have over 20 years of experience working with a wide variety of people and know that you have the ability to make big changes in your life. If you are ready to do the work, you will be amazed at how much change you are capable of and how therapy can allow you to experience growth and changes that allow you to lead a fulfilling life and reach those goals that may not seem possible right now. I have certifications in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, and Dialectical Behavioral therapy. I have worked with the very young to those folks who have circled the sun many times over. Working with a diverse population has made it easier for me to connect with YOU and I look forward to helping you discover your strengths and skills that you can use over a lifetime. I am unable to serve Veteran’s due to a direct conflict of interest, but Veterans are one of main reasons I do what I do and remain constant inspiration in my career. I love what I do and love the people I work with. I understand that this is a difficult first step and I am mindful and respectful of your time and assure you that you are the one in control. Those closest to me know me as an advocate, a mother, someone who enjoys laughter and humor, and most important of all a Kansas City Chiefs fan-also a good boundary setter so you would never know I am a Chiefs fan if you cheer for another team :) Look forward to speaking with you! **Due to a conflict of interest she is unable to serve Veteran’s although they are very near and dear to her heart.**
