Getting to know Cherry Weaver

Hi there, I'm Cherry. Are you wanting to pursue your best life? Do you procrastinate? Are you ready to step out of your comfort zone ever so slightly? You may find that action conquers fear! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 19 years of experience providing therapy services. I work with clients who may have issues with depression, anxiety, substance use, trauma, couples, adult children from dysfunctional families, and domestic violence. This is not a conclusive list. I received my Master's degree in Counseling from Amberton University in Garland, Texas.

What should a new client know about working with you?

The first session is used to gather information about the client and is the beginning of the assessment process. The client identifies issues to focus on and I discuss techniques that can help them. The following sessions are linked to the past session and following up on assignments or weekly goals. The client may discuss current issues or new areas of focus. I like to instill in the client that they have resources and knowledge that can be tapped into to best help them.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
