As people, throughout our lives we may encounter challenges such as low self-esteem, loss, struggles in our families, depression, anxiety, coping with trauma and/or abuse, anger, worry, stress management, and even communicating our thoughts and feelings to those important in our lives. At times we need an outside perspective, support, empowerment, and maybe just someone to listen to us when life seems hard or complicated. Cherryl's counseling style is warm, friendly, honest, and, above all, genuine. After more than 30 years of experience in a variety of settings, Cherryl has learned to utilize therapeutic tools and styles designed to meet the needs of the individual client in a safe, professional environment that builds, enhances, validates, and supports the individual toward a healthier sense of competence to deal with the bumps or storms encountered in life. In her spare time, Cherryl enjoys laughing, learning, exploring, traveling, reading, growing as a person, her faith, and learning baking. She adores snorkeling, nature, and working in the yard. There are so many areas that make her smile, challenge her, foster wonder, or spark the excitement of adventure. Life can be a challenge or at times even difficult. She likes slowing down, taking a breath, and finding the blessings and joyful moments.
