Psychotherapist
FL
Are you looking to heal? If so, I am looking for you. I am trauma-informed, with a passion for helping those suffering from distressing events. I work with survivors of domestic violence, childhood abuse, dysfunctional childhoods, first responders, military/veterans, and more. Healing the past allows us to create a positive future. Feeling not good enough, like you don't matter? Struggling with relationship issues? I can help with those, along with general mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, and mood regulation. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Saint Leo University and am Shapiro-trained in EMDR to help clients reduce emotional responses to trauma or distressing events. I also use Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to assist clients in managing intense emotions, suicidal ideation, and learning effective coping skills. Mindfulness activities are incorporated to help stay focused and present in the now. Contacting a stranger for therapy can be stressful. I am dedicated to helping you heal from past experiences and work toward a positive future. I encourage mindfulness and living in the present moment. This is not an easy task and requires dedication to change. I will support you along the way and encourage you to keep going if you stumble.
