Everybody struggles or gets stuck in their life at times and may need support. I am a practical, energetic, and experienced guide for those struggling and/or stuck. I base my work on the importance of human connection and creating a ?safe place? for people to share. Laughter and mindful presence are essential therapeutic ingredients. I use a holistic approach with each client, drawing from an eclectic mix of cognitive-behavioral therapy, applied behavioral analysis, positive psychology, life coaching, and solution-focused perspectives. Most of all, my empathetic style and flexible use of therapies provide hope, healing, and a positive therapeutic relationship with each client. I have supported students, parents, and families for two decades as a School Counselor and Psychotherapist. I hold a Master's in Counseling from Shippensburg University. As a nature enthusiast and athlete, I incorporate an attitude of reverence toward the healing process that includes an overall wellness approach. We are a sum of our whole being.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Each session is tailored to the individual. I begin by learning about you as a whole person. The first three sessions will include an biopsychosocial, genogram, and critical life history. These are sessions to help me better understand you as a "whole" person and often gives you insight into yourself as well. Once this is complete we will work together as a team to develop your goals and outcomes you desire to achieve during our time together.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
