Hi, I'm Cheryl, a clinical social worker who graduated from West Virginia University. I have had the opportunity to work with children and adults who have experienced trauma and life changes, including chronic health issues. I also work with addiction and recovery. I appreciate working with all age groups who want to heal and improve their outlook and hope. I have served in the field of protective services with families who needed help with economic and neglect issues. I have also worked in foster care and family reunification services. Additionally, I have been involved with sexually abused children and adults. I have worked with kidney dialysis patients and their families who face major life changes and challenges of kidney failure. I was also a mental health therapist at the Veteran Administration Health Care, serving male and female veterans experiencing addiction and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Since 2021, I have worked with addiction patients on medication-assisted therapy via telehealth communications.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
