Psychotherapist
IL
Hi, I’m Cheyenne Grace, a Licensed Clinical Therapist dedicated to helping you find realistic interventions for your mental health in your everyday life. I know how hard it can be to juggle everything from a career, relationships, family, and your own well-being. Life moves fast, and sometimes taking care of yourself slips to the bottom of the list. My goal is to make therapy feel accessible and supportive, not like one more thing you have to add to the "to do" list. In our sessions, you’ll find a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can feel seen, understood, and genuinely supported but also encouraged to grow. I believe real change comes from both compassion and accountability, so we’ll work together to apply what we discuss in therapy to your life utilizing weekly goals. Whether you’re adjusting to a major life shift, managing anxiety that shows up in your daily routine, or working to break free from negative thought patterns, I’m here to help. Together, we’ll explore your goals, ease stress, and build tools for lasting emotional wellness so you can feel more grounded and empowered.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am dedicated to helping you navigate your mental health goals. I try to maintain a list of goals per week that we are striving toward and follow up on them on a regular basis. I try to bring humor and a relaxed atmosphere to session but also believe therapy does not work if the only time you work through issues is the 45 minute session you attend.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

If I had to describe a typical session it would look like this: We sign into session and I ask about your week and if there is anything pressing before we follow up on goals. If there is a pressing issue I guide you through processing that concern and we work toward barriers to progress that issue caused you for the week and unpack your emotional response to it. If we can resolve that concern and move forward I go back to your overall goals for the week, typically around 3 goals we agreed to work on. We discuss how the goals went, your response to the goal, and if we need to continue to add it to your running list of working activities. We then recap your goals for the next week and schedule for next session prior to signing off.
