Getting to know Chiara Ciacci

I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in New York State with a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Antioch University - New England (Keene, NH) and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Oregon. I'm passionate about supporting children, teens, individuals, and families in navigating life's challenges and building stronger, more meaningful relationships. My philosophy is rooted in the belief that therapy isn't about changing who you are but helping you shift your perspective, reframe negative beliefs, and identify behavior patterns that no longer serve you. Together, we'll focus on turning those patterns into positive and empowering ones, so you can create the life you truly want. In my sessions, I use exploration, positivity, and even laughter to create a safe and supportive space where you can feel heard, respected, and comfortable being vulnerable. Building a trusting relationship is at the heart of my work, and I strive to meet each client with compassion and curiosity, empowering them to uncover their strengths and move toward growth. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and adults navigating challenges like anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, self-esteem, family dynamics, trauma, parenting struggles, life transitions, and more. My approach is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs, helping you find clarity, connection, and confidence. Healing and growth are always possible, and I'd be honored to walk alongside you on this journey.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in New York State with a strong foundation in psychology and education. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, and Business from the University of Oregon and my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Antioch University – New England. My career began as a child development specialist, where I founded Ivy Hill Learning, LLC, a preschool and child development center recognized for its expertise in supporting children with behavioral challenges, developmental disabilities, and diverse learning needs. This experience honed my skills in fostering resilience and adaptability in individuals and families. As a Marriage and family Therapist, my work is deeply informed by an understanding of the importance of healthy attachments within couples and families. I strive to create a collaborative and nurturing therapeutic environment that promotes the emotional well-being of all family members, empowering them to build stronger, more fulfilling relationships
