I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the Texas, U.S.A. (License #88644). I also completed my Ph.D. coursework and academic credits at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, U.S.A. I am the recipient of the 2023 Best Practice Research Practicing Counselor Award conferred by the American Counseling Association. Nutrition, social connections, and stress management on clients’ wellness. I also consider the client's cultural, individual differences, financial, spiritual beliefs, and economic and political impacts on your mental health and relationships. In the meantime, I practice a neuro-informed approach to conceptualize clients’ mental health struggles and facilitate behavioral changes.I have nearly 20 years of experience working with children, families, adults, and older adults in a variety of settings, including elementary schools, university counseling centers, community counseling centers, and Medical centers in Asia and the US. I specialize in cross-cultural children's play therapy, cross-cultural issues, caregiving issues, and the mental health of older adults with and without cognitive decline. I work intensively with Men's issues, and practice exclusively with LGBTQA+ communities. I also provide treatment for clinical symptoms such as depression and anxiety.
