Psychotherapist
CA
Hi, I’m Chitra Wiltshire (she/her), a first-generation Black woman, mom, and therapist dedicated to helping you navigate life’s challenges with authenticity and empowerment. I know that starting therapy can be daunting, but my goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel comfortable showing up as your true self. My approach is very person-centered — therapy should feel like a conversation, not a rigid process. We’ll work as a team to ensure you’re getting the support you need, and I’ll always welcome your feedback. If something doesn’t feel right, we’ll adjust together. Therapy is your journey, and I’m here to walk alongside you. As a woman of color who has personally navigated racial trauma, I deeply understand the need to feel seen, heard, and validated. In a society shaped by systemic oppression, healing can feel overwhelming, but I’m here to tell you that your feelings, experiences, and pain are real. I see you. I hear you. My purpose is to help you embrace all the beautiful, complex parts of who you are. Life can be messy, unpredictable, and sometimes lonely. But it doesn’t have to be something you face alone. Together, we’ll cultivate resilience and help you find the best path forward — one where you feel radically accepted and empowered to thrive. When I’m not working, I love going to Disneyland with my family, exploring food trucks and restaurants (I’m a big foodie!), wine tasting, watching movies, and spending quality time with my daughter. A fun fact about me: My husband and I decided to visit all 50 states — so far, we’ve checked off 8!
