HI
Hi there, I'm Chloe! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) who works primarily with adults navigating mood disorders (including anxiety and depressive disorders), trauma, ADHD, and substance use. My approach is integrated, Person-Centered, and trauma-informed—grounded in empathy, curiosity, and respect for your lived experience. My approach I fundamentally view therapy as a collaboration. My primary goals are to listen to you, to do my best to understand the way you experience the world, and to cultivate a strong therapeutic alliance with you that supports your process of growth and healing. Based on your goals and preferences, I can integrate tools from evidence-based approaches (including Attachment Focused, Cognitive Behavioral, Family Systems, Existential, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapies). As the client, you will always have a choice about what you feel comfortable with. Over the course of our work together, I will periodically check in with you and ask for your feedback. I don’t assign a lot of formal homework to clients unless it’s requested, or if we’re working on something specific, like a relapse prevention plan, but I may encourage you to try new behaviors or set small goals between sessions. Like everything else, this will be tailored to your specific goals. My focus Much of my work focuses on helping adult survivors of childhood trauma. I support my clients in making sense of how trauma can reshape our sense of safety, lead to internalized shame, and impact how we relate to others and ourselves. In a caring, consistent therapeutic relationship, I've seen clients begin to reconnect with themselves, develop authentic self-compassion, and reengage with the world in new and meaningful ways. My work is rooted in harm reduction and shaped by years of experience in community-based mental health and substance use treatment.
