Hello, I'm Christi! I received my Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1997, and since then, I've had the privilege of working with families, teens, adults, and couples. My approach to therapy is grounded in empathy, understanding, and a commitment to helping you navigate life's challenges. I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth and healing, and my role is to support you on that journey. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Additionally, I utilize Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients understand and heal their internal dynamics. One of my specialized areas of practice is Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), for which I am certified. KAP can be done remotely through a partnership with Journey Clinical for the medical component. This treatment involves a psychedelic dose of ketamine, and I provide preparation and integration sessions to ensure the best possible outcomes. I specialize in working with individuals dealing with anxiety, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, depression, PTSD, and trauma. I also offer support for life transitions, intimate and romantic relationships, psychosis and schizophrenia, stress, and gender identity issues. Additionally, I am passionate about providing care for the LGBTQIA+ community and military veterans. In our sessions, you can expect a safe, non-judgmental space where we can explore your thoughts and feelings openly. My goal is to help you build resilience, develop coping strategies, and find a path to a more fulfilling life.
