Getting to know Christi Young

As your counselor, I'm down-to-earth, honest, understanding, and warm. The counseling room is about discovering more of what you want for yourself. In counseling, I will create an environment for you to awaken to more of the life you have dreamed of. Although I use various therapeutic techniques, one of my favorites is emotionally focused therapy, which allows you the freedom to explore your emotions in a safe environment. No one wants to be controlled by their emotions. In counseling, I want you to have an experience that leads to emotional healing and gives you the freedom to better direct your thoughts and behaviors. I can help you become equipped to process and heal from difficult emotional and behavioral patterns. Christian counseling is available for Christian clients. I also use cognitive behavioral therapy and EMDR. I give clients weekly homework to help them achieve their goals in and out of the counseling session. I hold a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. Please call or message me, and I will schedule your first appointment.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
