Noel graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English from Gardner-Webb University and a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Lenoir-Rhyne University. She is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Professional and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist in North Carolina. Her counseling experience includes outpatient Substance Abuse and Mental Health counseling, Career and Personal Development counseling in a university setting, and working with evidence-based children’s programs through Smart Start Services. Noel enjoys providing parent education and is passionate about serving children, adolescents, and adults. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Gestalt Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, along with other evidence-based practices to best serve each individual’s needs. Noel is passionate about the helping profession and believes in a holistic approach that includes wellness in body, mind, and spirit. She is also passionate about health and nutrition and often incorporates this into sessions if clients desire. Noel feels called to walk alongside clients as they journey into the best versions of themselves. She is a huge animal lover, currently caring for seven animals. She and her 13-year-old daughter and 3-year-old son love all animals, from reptiles to their favorite dog—the French Bulldog. Noel has worked as a Veterinary Technician and believes animals are one of life’s greatest gifts. She enjoys kayaking, hiking, stand-up paddleboarding, working out, planning parties and events, and vacationing.
