Christian Wreiole is a Licensed Professional Counselor and their license number is 37PC00638800. If you’re constantly worrying, overthinking, or feeling mentally exhausted trying to manage everything in your life, you’re not alone. Many of the people I work with feel overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, or depression even when things look “fine” on the outside. My goal is to provide supportive, practical therapy that helps you better understand what’s happening in your mind and develop tools that make daily life feel more manageable. In our work together, we focus on understanding patterns of thinking that contribute to stress, self-doubt, and emotional exhaustion while building skills that help you respond to life with greater clarity and confidence. I believe therapy works best when there is a strong, genuine connection between therapist and client. My style is authentic, collaborative, and straightforward. I see therapy as a partnership where you bring your life experience and I help guide the process so you can move toward the changes you want to make. If you’ve been carrying around worry, stress, or self-doubt for a long time, therapy can help you set that weight down and begin moving forward with more stability and peace.

What should a new client know about working with you?

When we work together, you can expect an environment where you can speak openly and honestly without feeling judged. Many people come to therapy unsure where to start or worried about saying the “right” thing. There is no right or wrong way to begin—we simply start with what you’re experiencing. My approach is supportive but also practical and direct. We will spend time understanding how your thoughts, emotions, and past experiences may be contributing to stress or feeling stuck. Once we understand those patterns, we begin working on ways to challenge them and respond differently. I also believe in helping clients understand how anxiety and stress work in the mind and body. Often, simply learning how these patterns develop can make them feel far less overwhelming. From there, we build skills that help you manage stress, reduce overthinking, and feel more confident in navigating life. My goal is to help you leave sessions not only feeling heard, but also feeling better equipped to handle what life puts in front of you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first session is focused on getting to know you. We talk about what has been going on in your life, what challenges you’ve been experiencing, and what you hope might change through therapy. This session also gives you the opportunity to get a feel for my style and decide whether working together feels like a good fit. After the initial session, our work typically focuses on understanding the patterns behind anxiety, stress, self-doubt, or depression. Many people find that their thoughts and emotions follow predictable cycles that keep them feeling stuck. Together, we begin identifying those cycles and exploring ways to interrupt them. Sessions often involve a combination of conversation, reflection, and learning practical tools that can help you manage stress and respond to challenges more effectively. Over time, many clients begin to notice improvements in their mood, confidence, and ability to handle situations that once felt overwhelming. Therapy is not about becoming a different person—it’s about helping you understand yourself more clearly and developing the tools to move through life with greater stability and peace.
