Christie is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who specializes in working with children, adolescents, and adults to help them navigate mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, familial challenges, communication difficulties, and interpersonal struggles. She earned her Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern University and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Marist College. Christie is an empathetic, patient, and caring therapist who believes in the importance of building trusting therapeutic alliances. She provides a safe, nonjudgmental space for clients to explore themselves freely and grow. Christie utilizes a client-centered approach combined with Psychodynamic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness strategies.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Please note that our specialty is talk therapy. We DO NOT provide medication management or prescription refills. We DO NOT specialize in treatment for substance or alcohol use. Clients must be present in the state of New York at the time of the appointment. Minimum client age: Please note that Christie works with clients who are at least 18 years old.
