Navigating a full human experience can feel like both a blessing and an incredible challenge. I know this from over a decade's worth of professional experience in helping people move through the complexities of their personal lives and being a human myself. Over the years, I've worked alongside all age demographics of people from many different backgrounds in addressing trauma, anxiety, depression, attachment, and relational issues, to name a few. Starting therapy is a great step in understanding our humanness and receiving support, understanding, and education on where we can start this journey towards change. Together. My approach The therapeutic approaches I utilize include, but are not limited to, Humanistic, interpersonal, and holistic. My focus I like to think of 'therapy' as a classroom for one's own personal development and continued education of the human experience. Together in this space, we can explore what feels authentic and meaningful for you. Sometimes, when we understand even just a little more about our brains and bodies for the season of life we are in, we can really start to influence change in our lives for the good, the wholesome, and better! My communication style In my sessions, I strive to cultivate a compassionate, direct, and clarifying. My journey to mental healthcare I, too, am a woman, mother, partner, someone to someone or something. I, too, am familiar with the natural rhythms of love and loss that are inherent in the human experience. From this place of shared humanity, I work to support my clients in acknowledging, accepting, and changing aspects of their lives that feel meaningful to them. My journey in becoming a fuller sense of self and provider is one in the same. My goals for you Treatment goals are set and guided by clients. Clinical recommendations as to where to start can sometimes be helpful, but over the years, I have found that clients know intrinsically where to start and where to go.
