Getting to know Christina Ravenel
Hello, my name is Christina and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor located in Killeen, Texas. I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Sociology from Drury University. I received my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas A&M University-Central Texas. I also have a certificate in Chemical Dependency and Addiction. I grew up as a military dependant (Army Brat) and later became a military spouse. I am familiar with military culture and the stresses that being in the military can put on those individuals who are serving plus their families.
Growing up in a diverse military culture has helped me to be an open-minded, non-judgmental, compassionate, patient, and trauma-informed therapist. I also believe that everyone can benefit from counseling because sometimes life just gets too hard and we need a safe space to retreat, relax, and regroup. I have worked with many individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, addiction, and trauma. I would love to help you navigate through your struggles as well.

Clients can expect to leave sessions with me feeling more aware of themselves and others, empowered, and heard. I bring warmth, and understanding along with genuine support to build trust and work toward reaching your therapeutic goals.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
