I earned my Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology at National Louis University in 2010. Since then, I have worked with LGBTQ individuals across various life stages, including adolescents, young adults, and adults. I am particularly passionate about supporting LGBTQ clients as they navigate identity development, relationships, and the unique challenges they may face in their personal and professional lives. I also have experience working with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, and other psychological difficulties. Additionally, I have supported LGBTQ individuals who have survived varying types and severities of discrimination, rejection, and abusive behaviors from significant others, family members, or society at large. I believe that no matter the challenges one faces, having a supportive and affirming space with a non-judgmental therapist can be invaluable in fostering healing, self-acceptance, and resilience.
