Hello, my name is Christine, and I have been a clinical social worker for 24 years. Looking back at my younger years, I found myself in helping roles as a child, assisting the elderly, the blind, and the marginalized. I seemed to have a calling to the helping professions and was blessed to have recognized it early on. Once I entered higher education, I thrived among like-minded individuals, was recognized for my academic achievements, and was honored to deliver the commencement speech to over 5,000 graduates representing the School of Social Work. I have spent many years in direct practice and have progressed into upper management over time. To this day, I still feel rewarded every day doing what I do best.
