What should a new client know about working with you?

My specialization is working with women experiencing infertility, loss due to a miscarriage, pregnancy and adjusting to postpartum. I have extensive experience supporting individuals with ASD, mood disorders, and suicidal ideation. I utilize a strength based, client-centered approach with components of mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy and DBT.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The hardest step in counseling is setting up and attending the first intake session. I believe that creating an environment that eases worry and feels like unconditional support is an important part of my role in the therapeutic relationship. Tele-health provides an easily accessible and flexible format to engaging in psychotherapy to reduce barriers.
