Hi - my name is Chrissy and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have worked as a therapist for just over 4 years. As your therapist, it is my goal to offer you a space of compassion, challenge, exploration, and healing. You are the master of your story - I am just grateful to be along for the ride. As we work through the complexities of life, I promise to also provide a laugh. Personally, I have frequently utilized humor as a tool when I find myself consumed in the serious. My areas of expertise are in Trauma, Depression, Anxiety, Life Transitions, and Relationships. I am well versed in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy although my approach is always going to be Person Centered. I will highlight your strengths (even when you may be feeling there are few) and we will go from there. You are a person first, not a check box list of criteria for diagnosis or treatment plan. Shifting from a lens of shame to a lens of curiosity will make an impact on the way you see yourself and the world. I look forward to meeting with you, getting into the messy, shifting to the curious, healing, and having a laugh along the way. When I am not in session, I love spending time outside. I've recently started a (very small) garden and that has been my joy space. I also love a good walk, a good cup of coffee, or a good home cooked meal.
