Maybe you've been feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or like you're just going through the motions. Maybe you're dealing with anxiety, navigating a difficult transition, or struggling to make sense of your relationships and where you fit in the world. Whatever brings you here, I want you to know that you don't have to figure it all out alone. I'm Christine, and I provide both in-person therapy at Amanda Neiman's practice in Los Angeles and virtual sessions for your convenience. As an Associate Clinical Social Worker under the supervision of Amanda Neiman, LMFT, I'm here to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel truly heard and understood. My approach draws from existential therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I believe you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you as you work toward what matters most to you. Together, we'll explore your concerns, identify patterns that may be holding you back, and develop strategies that feel authentic and meaningful to who you are. I earned my Master's degree in Social Work from California State University, Northridge. I became a therapist because I understand firsthand how challenging it can be to navigate mental health struggles, and I'm committed to offering the kind of compassionate, collaborative support that honors your unique experiences and strengths.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My therapy style is warm, direct, and grounded in what actually works for you. I draw from existential therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which means we'll explore both the deeper questions—What gives your life meaning? What values do you want to live by?—and the practical skills you need to manage day-to-day challenges like anxiety, stress, and difficult emotions. I work with adults navigating a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship struggles, and questions about identity and purpose. In our sessions, you can expect a conversational, collaborative approach. I'll help you identify patterns that might be holding you back, challenge thoughts that aren't serving you, and develop coping strategies that feel authentic to who you are.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first session, we'll talk about what brings you to therapy and what you're hoping to work on. This is also your chance to see if we're a good fit. Ongoing sessions are conversational, flexible, and collaborative. You might come in with something specific on your mind, or we might explore patterns, work on coping skills, or dig into deeper questions about your values and goals. I'll offer reflections and ask questions to help you see things differently, and together we'll develop practical strategies that work for you. Some sessions focus on immediate challenges; others are more exploratory. Therapy happens both in our sessions and in how you apply what we discuss to your daily life.
