The provider is an Associate Clinical Social Worker and is currently working under the supervision of a licensed practitioner. Their current employer is Change Within Reach. Hi, I’m Christine! I’m an Associate Clinical Social Worker whose path to therapy was shaped by both creative work and lived experience. Before entering the mental health field, I spent a decade in the creative industry, which sharpened my ability to listen deeply, notice nuance, and sit with complexity. Over time, I felt drawn toward a more meaningful application of those skills: helping people understand themselves and move through life with greater clarity, agency, and compassion. Outside the therapy room, I’m a marathon runner, a lifelong reader, a curious learner of obscure facts, and a devoted dog-mom to Mika.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My clinical background spans community mental health and school-based settings. I work with children (ages 4+) and adults (up to age 64), and I specialize in ADHD, autism, anxiety, schizophrenia and schizo-spectrum disorders, depression, intellectual and physical disabilities, relationship issues, and family conflict. I also have a particular commitment to working with Asian Pacific communities and other historically marginalized populations. As a Taiwanese-American clinician, I’m deeply attuned to how culture, identity, and family systems influence emotional expression, particularly in communities where mental health has not always been openly discussed. In our work together, I offer a thoughtful, grounded space where difficult conversations are not only welcome but held with care. My goal is to help you make sense of what you’re carrying, access your strengths, and move toward the life you want with intention.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My approach is flexible, humanistic, and strength-based. I draw from CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, Multicultural Therapy, Family Systems, Solution-Focused Therapy, and more. When appropriate, I thoughtfully incorporate creative or art-based processes as a way to deepen insight beyond words.
