Getting to know Christine Osmundson
My name is Christine Osmundson. I am a Clinical Mental Health Counselor practicing in Utah and, a Licensed Professional Counselor practicing in Colorado. I have a masters degree in Applied Psychology from New York University and 1 year of post graduate studies towards a Ph.D. in Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy at the Tavistock Institute in London, England. I've worked with several populations of children, adolescents, individuals and couples for over 25 years within several capacities i.e., psychiatric inpatient, residential, day treatment, school, mental health centers and in private practice either in person or via tele-health.
I believe in building a therapeutic relationship through unconditional positive regard together with a cognitive behavioral psychodynamic approach; an evidenced based practice. With extensive experience and training in individual, couples, family, and crisis management, I will work in collaboration with outside providers that include school personnel, primary care physicians and psychiatrists, to provide you and your loved with a comprehensive treatment plan that includes measurable outcomes.
I am a Chicago area native, married over 18 years with two teenage boys. We've been living and playing in the mountains from Lake Tahoe, Santa Fe, Crested Butte to Park City for over 20 years. I have a passion for supporting my local community through volunteering and being outside whenever I can trail running, mountain biking, nordic and alpine skiing!
