Hello, my name is Christine Renuart, LCSW. I am a licensed Social Worker in Florida (SW18832) and Arkansas (2420C). I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults since 2005 in different settings including schools, agencies, and private practice. I have treated clients struggling with anxiety, depression, anger, trauma, Bipolar Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, disruptive behaviors, conflict management, body image issues, and life transitions. I also offer supervision to social work interns. My experience spans several modalities including outpatient therapy, intensive family services, and adoption studies. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families that desire to increase communication, understanding, and commitment as active participants in their own lives. I believe there is an unconscious mind working behind the scenes which can be utilized to bring about growth and self-awareness. I utilize EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), SFBT (Solution-Focused Brief Therapy), and TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) interventions to help my clients in the process of changing their thoughts, environments, and behaviors to promote symptom relief and positive change. Additionally, I am a Certified Autism Specialist and am dedicated to improving the quality of care and skills for my clients with ASD I was educated in the multi-systems life course perspective, thus my treatment is informed by an understanding that we are on a developmental path from birth through death and that there are specific challenges and conflicts associated with each stage in our development. Counseling sessions can be held in person at our office in Ormond Beach or Online Telehealth Counseling is available through a Secure HIPAA Compliant Video platform. I offer daytime and evening appointments to support your busy schedule.
