Getting to know Christine Stupavsky

I am a licensed therapist in Missouri (LPC) and Illinois (LCPC) and a Mental Performance Consultant in Training. I use a client-centered, strengths-based approach to work with clients toward their identified goals. Together, we figure out what you want, what's limiting you, and how to get to your goal. My approach With over 15 years of experience, I work from an eclectic approach. The treatment type will be based on specific client preferences and needs. Primary techniques fall under behaviorist, cognitive, humanistic, and trauma approaches. My focus I have worked with all ages and prefer adolescents and older for telehealth. I work with clients through the spectrum of mental health- from issues of daily stress to serious mental illnesses such as Bipolar Disorder; anxiety, ADD, depression, and trauma; performance issues at work, school, and sports; and even those who just need an ear for support. My communication style I have a relaxed style, and clients are generally comfortable and open with me. As an empathetic listener, I provide positive support and will challenge you when needed to help you achieve your goals. My journey to mental healthcare I chose a career in therapy after several life changes altered my path of becoming a psychiatrist. Living in a rural area, I saw that helping others through a therapeutic lens would have the greatest impact on the community. More recently, I recognized a gap in mental performance services, which inspired me to further my education and broaden my treatment capabilities. This shift has allowed me to address a wider range of needs, combining therapy with mental performance strategies to offer comprehensive support to clients. My goals for you Together, we identify what you want to achieve, what’s getting in the way, and the best options to reach your goal. This might involve adjusting the goal to something more realistic, taking smaller steps, or developing a clear plan of action.
