Psychotherapist
MD
Hello, I'm Christine. Life can throw us curveballs at any given time, causing uncertainty on how to navigate through situations. These things can impact one's mental health, especially if we are not equipped with healthy coping skills and support. I can help guide you through your mental health journey, and together we can explore ways to manage the challenges you're facing. I graduated from Hofstra University in 2016 with a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling and have been a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) for 6 years. My professional journey has predominantly been in community mental health settings, where I worked with clients dealing with severe and persistent mental illness. Currently, I specialize in working with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, and bipolar disorder. My therapeutic approach centers around Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness. I believe that by bringing awareness to how our thoughts influence our perceptions, we can start to see situations from different perspectives and develop healthier ways to manage life's stressors. Together, we will explore these perspectives and find strategies that work best for you. In our sessions, you can expect a supportive and non-judgmental space where we work collaboratively towards your goals. I am here to listen, understand, and provide the tools you need to navigate your mental health journey. Whether you're dealing with ADHD, anger management issues, grief, or trauma, my aim is to help you find balance and peace. Outside of my professional life, I value spirituality and believe in the importance of finding inner peace. This belief often informs my therapeutic practice, as I strive to help clients connect with their own sense of spirituality and inner strength. If you're ready to take the next step towards better mental health, I'm here to support you. Let's work together to create a path forward that feels right for you.
