It can be difficult to pursue positive change while managing anxiety or depression, being entrenched in unhealthy patterns, or embedded in systems stuck in stasis. Together, we will slow down, build understanding of your unique context, and collaborate to define what genuine growth looks like. I use an affirming, strengths-based, systems-focused approach with an intersectional lens, drawing from evidence-based interventions such as CBT, ACT, and Narrative Therapy. I work with clients to find a healthy balance in their personal, professional, and creative lives. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois. I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Iowa in 2014 and hold a Master of Fine Arts in Painting and Drawing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. My experience includes providing psychotherapy to adults in an LGBTQ+ affirming, social justice-focused group therapy practice; working with individuals managing substance use disorder in a medication-assisted treatment program; and offering case management support to those managing chronic mental health conditions. I strive to meet clients where they are to help them move toward where they want to be.
