As a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with a Master of Social Work degree from Saint Louis University, I bring over 25 years of experience in community-based mental health services to our sessions. My journey in mental health has been deeply rooted in improving access and quality of care for individuals facing various challenges, and I am passionate about helping you navigate your path to wellness. Throughout my career, I have held several key positions that have shaped my approach to therapy. I served as the Director of Social Services Programs for the St. Louis County Department of Public Health for nine years, overseeing mental health programs in both clinical and correctional settings. This role allowed me to champion the creation of new programs and services, ensuring that individuals received the care they needed. Before this, I worked as a Supervisor of Mental Health Services and a Clinical Social Worker within the same department. Additionally, my experience as a Group Facilitator for a domestic violence program using the Duluth Model has provided me with valuable insights into promoting non-violent male identity and addressing power dynamics in relationships. Beyond my professional work, I am actively involved in the local community. I serve on the Board of Directors for Alive and Well Communities, the Adult Advisory Board for the Behavioral Health Network, and the Provider Services Advisory Board for the Regional Health Commission.
