Degree in Health, Physical Education, and Leisure Studies with a Concentration in Therapeutic Recreation from Grambling State University. In addition, an M.A. Degree in Professional Counseling from Amberton University. He has been Licensed as a Professional Counselor by the State of Texas since 2008; his counseling approach focuses on the individual and developing a partnership between the counselor and client to address their needs. Treatment focuses on Christian-based Counseling in the areas of marriage and family therapy, individual therapy, behavior modification, and stress/anxiety management in a caring and therapeutic environment. In addition, your provider has spent more than 20 years with the VA North Texas Health Care System serving our country's Veterans. He has been faithfully and happily married for over 20 years and is the proud father of two daughters and one son. In his leisure time, he enjoys time with family, reading, traveling, and serving through his Church and Fraternity. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Community Care and Counseling with a focus on Marriage and Family from Liberty University.
