Getting to know Christopher Meshula

For more than 14 years, I have been helping to change lives for the better. I hold a Master's in Counseling from Arizona State University, which has equipped me with the skills to treat a wide variety of diagnoses and life situations affecting children and adults. My philosophy is that the issues we face have origins in our past experiences. Therefore, there is hope for all of us to improve our lives because there are proven ways to reprogram our views of ourselves and the emotions that cling to us. I have a reputation for helping even the most apprehensive people to trust the therapy process and find better outcomes.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I incorporate holistic approaches to mental health. I assess social environments, physical health and diet to understand what is contributing to mental health symptoms. I specialize in trauma processing as well as regulatory exercises, mindfulness, and stretching. Mental and emotional challenges do not just belong to the mind, so therefore it is necessary to address the body and mind as a whole.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first session we will start the process of getting to know one another and identify what it is you would like to accomplish in counseling. From there we will craft our treatment plan together and get you on your way to your goals. MY treatment style is to meet my clients where they are mentally and emotionally each day. Therefore, the structure the session is very fluid and is therefore open to the needs of my clients as they evolve and change.
