As a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Sam Houston State University, I believe the counseling journey is a joint effort between the client and counselor. The objective for my clients during this journey is to create a partnership where they feel safe, free to speak their minds, and introduced to a process void of judgment, focused on overall well-being and mutual respect. My style is one of partnership, emphasizing techniques and interventions best suited for each client's particular needs. I focus on supportive methods while also respectfully encouraging my clients to challenge themselves.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Within the first session we would determine the most pressing concerns and I would offer my take on the issues. I would then offer a therapy plan focused on improving the client’s overall wellbeing and incorporate the client's desires into the plan. We would meet on a regular basis to put this plan into action and process the journey together.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
