Hi! I'm Christy and I am a therapist based out of Iowa but also licensed in Illinois and Nebraska. I received my Master's degree from the University of Iowa (Go Hawks!) I have worked in the field for over 35 years and consider it a privilege to walk alongside you on your journey. I am experienced with working with a diverse group of individuals and am a caring and empathic listener who will help you to identify your own strengths, empower you to see the problems in your life in a different way, and achieve the goals you set. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My counseling style is eclectic. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, supportive, strength-based and interpersonal therapies.
