Hi! I’m really glad you’re here. I’ve been a therapist for over 20 years, and I truly love what I do. I hope that I can help you understand where your feelings come from while supporting your growth in a safe, caring, and non-judgmental space. Together, we’ll work on building self-awareness, recognizing your strengths, and exploring what truly matters to you. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself, where you can reflect, heal, and move forward feeling more confident, grounded, and fulfilled.
My experience is focused on working with anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, mood disorders, self-esteem, and life transitions. I also specialize in military service members and their families, veteran issues and pre/post-surgical bariatric counseling. I’m also an LGBTQ+ affirming, BLM, women's rights, ENM, polyamorous, and power dynamics supportive therapist.
Research shows that the connection between therapist and client is one of the biggest factors in successful therapy, so I take that part very seriously. I hope you leave our first session feeling like you had a genuine, warm, human and comfortable conversation with someone understanding.
What should a new client know about working with you?
My goal is to work collaboratively with you to help you achieve your goals. The collaborative process is about participating in conversations that open up possibilities, new meanings, and ideas to help you find your own ways forward when advice is not enough. In addition, I'll share ideas, strategies, evidenced-based techniques, and teach you practical tools that you’ll find helpful.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
