Hello, I'm Christy. Your life is important, and the journey can get complicated. I will walk with you on the path to wholeness and healing, helping you live life to the fullest. I take a holistic and relational approach in my work, addressing not only mental and emotional needs but also physical and spiritual ones. I believe that at our core, each of us has the ability to find our way, grow, and transform so that you may live with more peace and joy. If you are currently struggling, it’s possible to heal and thrive. Helping people grow and heal through counseling has been my life's work for over twenty years. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Board Certified Counselor (NCC), I have dedicated my career to supporting adult clients experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I also have extensive experience with those struggling with burnout, chronic illness, cancer, LGBTQ+ issues, and spiritual concerns. My approach to counseling is humanistic and relationship-focused, utilizing mindfulness-based cognitive therapy and EMDR. I believe that mindful practices, self-compassion, and the body's wisdom can help us manage stress and anxiety more effectively, tolerate difficult emotions, and relate to others more authentically, leading to a more grounded and intentional life. EMDR can help process unresolved issues and trauma, whether they be recent events or from years past. I offer you a safe space to grow, heal, and make meaningful changes to create a life well-lived. Outside of my professional life, I find joy in connecting with nature, practicing yoga, and spending quality time with loved ones. These activities help me stay grounded and bring a sense of balance to my life.
